For as long as I can remember, I have always had a love for all things creative! After doing invitations for friends and family, and designing everything for my own wedding that took place on August 29th, 2008, I realized that I really had a love for paper and event design. After receiving a lot of support and encouragement from friends and family, I decided to officially start my own business and pursue it as a full-time venture!  My dream became a reality in June 2009 when Matinae Design Studio was officially launched!

We are close to celebrating our third year in business and I can't express how lucky, blessed, and honored I feel! The past 3 years have been a dream come true! I have been lucky enough to have friends who have become clients and have clients who have become friends! Each and every person I have had the honor to work for has been amazing! The support and encouragement I have received from my peers in the wedding and event industry, has truly meant the world to me! This business has allowed me the chance to re-connect with old friends and classmates and has allowed me the chance to meet so many new and amazing people! To have the chance to do what I love every single day is the biggest blessing of all and I hope my love for design shows in each and every one of my products!

We design quality paper products at competitive prices. We take time out to listen to our clients so we can build a one of a kind design for them that fits their style, personality, and event!  We also offer event styling, coordination, and rentals!

We are located in Bakersfield, California but have designed for people all of the world.
