Monday Matinae | Kelly + Jeremy

Monday, January 7, 2013

It's taken me forever to feature Kelly and Jeremy's wedding simply due to the fact that I couldn't seem to narrow down the pictures I wanted to feature!  Each one was just that beautiful, the lighting to die for, and the details just so perfect!  Plus, I'm kind of obsessed with her dress and heels! :)  Kelly and Jeremy got married in fall of 2010 at Bakersfield Country Club!  Enjoy and don't forget to check out her list of vendors below!

Kelly + Jeremy | Bakersfield Country Club | Bakersfield, CA

Sunday, January 6, 2013

We had the honor of designing for Kelly and Jeremy's wedding that took place in October of 2010.  Upon meeting with Kelly, I was so excited to design for them!  She had selected a purple and gray color scheme with pops of orange which I just loved!  We designed dark gray metallic pocketfolds that featured the design below that featured a classic monogram design.  Also created were reception invitations for her to hand out to her co-workers that she wanted to celebrate with too!

Check back tomorrow for their wedding feature will with amazing pictures!

Thanksgiving 2012 | Tablescape and Decor

Thursday, January 3, 2013

While window shopping shortly before the holidays, my mom and I saw a beautiful tablescape on display at Pier 1 and decided to do our own take on it for Thanksgiving!  It featured a beautiful color scheme that we had never pictured for Thanksgiving before (thanks Pier 1 for the inspiration!).  We added turquoise silk napkins and  fabric to the table along with copper chargers and chocolate brown glass and stemware.  The centerpiece was created using the same beaded fruits and vegetables that we typically use at this time of year but this year we incorporated beaded acorns and squash as well.  Each place setting featured  homemade cranberry orange and caramel apple mini loaves and chocolate-peanut butter acorns for our guests to take home with them with a small tent card that read "Some goodies to take with you and enjoy!"

The silk napkins were folded in thirds and placed horizontally over the plates and between the chargers.  A piece of copper cardstock was then placed over the napkin and read "Thank you for being you and for being here!".

I love holiday styling and d├ęcor that mixes traditional takes on the holiday with a new and unique spin on it as well!    Never be afraid to think outside of the box and try something new!
