Christmas Cards Pt. 3 | The Binghams

I've been trying to send out Christmas cards starting the year my husband and I got married.  So far, so good! :)   I haven't found the files for the first two years but wanted to share the last 3 years with everyone. For 2012 we chose to go with a chalkboard theme.  The card was layered on red metallic cardstock and was enclosed in a coordinating envelope. For 2011 I designed a square card that featured carnival fonts, black and white stripes and reindeer!  I think this is my favorite card of our's so far. It was also layered on red metallic cardstock and was enclosed in a white metallic envelope that also featured black and white striped Washi tape on the black flap to seal it. :)

For 2010, I created a business sized card that was layered on green metallic paper and enclosed in white matte envelopes.  The envelope featured the same frame graphic as the card and featured a black and white pattern.

I hope everyone had a wonderful and joyous holiday season! I can't bel…

Christmas Cards Pt. 2 | Custer, Ballard & Peters Families

Here are more Christmas card designs we got to create for clients during the 2011 and 2012 seasons! The Custer Family decided to go with a one sided flat panel with matching envelope.  The designed featured a green, black, and gold pattern and a custom monogram! The Ballards also decided on a one sided flat panel with coordinating envelope and went with a flourish ornament theme using their wedding pictures with the fun "We're having a very "Married" Christmas!" saying.  Here is a design I created for the Peters' in 2011.  This was a card ornament that included white ribbon for friends and family to hang it with.  This design was enclosed in a white metallic envelope with coordinating addressing.

Christmas Cards Pt. 1 | Sorrell and Shafer Families

We were thrilled when Brittany and Ashley, who are sisters and both past bride's of ours, contacted us to design their Christmas cards this year!  I had designed cards for Brittany last year as well!  Each time I work with these girls, they bring me great inspiration!  This year, Brittany decided on a blue and gray double sided card featuring snowflakes and Ashley decided on a red and green chalkboard cute!  All of our Christmas cards come with coordinating envelopes, addressing, and return addressing as well!
Here are pictures of the 2012 and 2011 designs that we did for the Sorrell Family and the 2012 design we did for the Shafers!  Stay tuned for part 2-4 of Christmas cards that I designed for other amazing clients as well as myself. :)

Andrea + Kevin | Kern County Museum | Bakersfield, CA

Andrea and Kevin planned a beautiful fall wedding to be held at the Kern County Museum here in Bakersfield! It was so much fun planning out the details with Andrea and her mom, Vicki! The color scheme was purple and green which I love and Andrea wanted calla lilies used on her invitations. We came up with quite a few designs for this much fun! A layered flat panel invitation was created that included a coordinating response postcard, details insert, and envelope. Champagne and green metallic papers were used for this design. Ceremony fans, "Here Comes The Bride" sign, reserved table signs, menus, "Bride" and "Groom" chair signs, direction signs, cookie buffet bags, signs, and jar labels, and a guestbook tree sign and tags were all created using the same papers, fonts, and graphics. We also provided the couple with wrought iron Shepard's hooks. Their wedding day turned out amazing! So amazing, in fact, that we'll be featuring…

A Kitchen Affair | Emily's Bridal Shower

Loved getting to design Emily's bridal shower invitations while designing items for her wedding day as well!  She wanted a kitchen themed bridal shower invitation using gray, green, and orange and that is what we did!  We created a fun, pop-art inspired design that was printed on white metallic paper and then layered on metallic cardstock.  The invitation included a coordinating recipe card for guests to fill out and bring with them.  Each invitation was enclosed in a metallic envelope that featured coordinating addressing and return addressing.  I love the little teaspoons that we placed by her name on the return! :)

Eva's Garter Set | Chic Lace and Rhinestones

Eva and Matt were married this fall and on top of designing their wedding invitations, menus, seating chart, and other wedding accessories, Eva wanted us to design her garters as well!
We used white lace, rhinestone brooches, and handmade yellow silk flowers along with some touches of gray cording and feathers. Loved the look of these, and as always, we included one for her to keep and one for her to toss!

Polly's Bridal Shower | Vintage Romance

I got a chance to design bridal shower invitations with Amy who is a friend of mine!  Her brother, Scott, is getting married and Amy and her mom threw his fiance a shower last weekend!  I went to school and church with both Amy and Scott so this was a fun project to work on, plus, Amy's vision for what she wanted the invitations to look like was perfect..I mean mason jars, flowers, and ribbon banners, how can you go wrong with that? :)

Candice + Garrett | A Carnival Couple's Shower!

Candice and Garrett got married this last June (wedding designs coming soon so be on the lookout!) and to say that I loved their style and vision would be an understatement!  They celebrated with family and friends shortly before the wedding with a couple's shower at the Padre Hotel.  Candice wanted to incorporate the vintage feel that their wedding was going to include but wanted a more fun, vibrant look with the shower invitations.
We created a layered panel invitation using white and gold metallic cardstocks.  The panel was enclosed in a white glassine bag that included baker's twine and a hang tag and then was enclosed in a metallic envelope with coordinating addressing!

Pearl Anniversary | 25th Anniversary Card

Nicole contacted me in regards to creating a custom card that she wanted to give to her parents on their 25th anniversary!  The 25th anniversary is the "pearl" anniversary so we designed the card using pearls and champagne metallic papers that featured different glittered patterns. The card was enclosed in a coordinating metallic envelope as well. The inside panels featured scripture and a message from Nicole, her husband, and her sister.  So sweet!

Melissa + Sig | The Legend at Bergamont | Oregon, Wisconsin

I love getting to design for friends and re-connect with people so when Melissa, who is a former classmate of mine, contacted me to see if I would design for her wedding, I jumped at the chance! :)
Melissa and Sig were married at the First Presbyterian Church with a reception following at The Legend of Bergamont in Wisconsin.  They had selected a bird theme with a navy and brown color scheme.  We created a side fold square invitation that featured a branch pattern along with two love birds.  When opened, the whole inside was lined with navy paper and opposite of the invitation panel was a transportation insert that was held together with ribbon that was wedged between the two layers of paper.  A response card with inner envelope, placecard, table numbers and programs were coordinated with the invitations as well.

Ariana + Chris | El Cortez | San Diego, California

Ariana and Chris had a beautiful wedding at the El Cortez in San Diego, California!  I loved the color scheme that they picked out consisting of black, apple green, and gold!  So unique and beautiful!  Ariana wanted to keep all of the stationary classic with a touch of vintage flare to compliment the history of their venue.
We created double mated invitations along with coordinating response postcards and wedding detail inserts.  A belly band (not pictured) wrapped around the whole ensemble before being tucked into a black matte envelope that featured a wrap around label and gold embossing.
We also designed wine labels that were placed on black bottles as favors for the guests, "Just Married" chair signs for the bride and groom, escort cards, table numbers, and thank you sign (pictured below).
Thanks to Ariana for sending over these pictures of our products on their wedding day!
