Jim's 50th Birthday Invitations

Jim's wife contacted me regarding a celebration she had planned for his 50th birthday. They were going to be celebrating with close family and friends at a ranch in the mountains. She wanted something earthy and simple. We found this green paper that was actually fabric that has a special backing on it that allows it to run through a printer. We printed the invitation in chocolate brown ink and added an oak tree to the top of it as the ranch property features many oak trees. We finished it off by adding a recycled tan paper matte and some twine. Up close, you can see that the fabric "paper" frays a tiny bit. How cool! It's always fun to work with new materials!

Monday Matinae | "Beauty and the Beast" Styling with Jessica Frey

This winter, we got the opportunity to design for a unique shoot that Jessica of Jessica Frey Photography was putting together!  I can't tell you how excited we were to design for this and finally get the chance to work with her!  Jessica has done several fairy tale inspired shoots that are aimed to help brides find modern fairy tale inspiration. Such a cool concept!

Placecards were designed as tent cards using…

A&E Photobooth | Gift Certificate Design

I had the honor of designing for Eva and Anthony last year and they have since turned into fellow wedding vendors as well by starting their own photo booth company called A&E Photobooth!  They contacted me to design a gift certificate for one of the bridal shows along with a 3 piece candy buffet for the guests visiting their booth in their company colors of black and red. We wish both of them tons of success in this new business venture and highly recommend them if you are planning an event!

In the meantime, our clients have been keeping us very busy!  The 2013 wedding season is about to wrap up and we're in the midst of designing holiday party invitations and cards.  I always love this time of the year!
